When I was in high school I had the most traumatizing thing happen to me.

I had to have my big toe nail removed.  Yep.

Ok, so you might be thinking I am being a little dramatic here, but seriously, it was awful.  What was worse is the fact that when my new toe nail grew back it was a shade of green.  Did you read that…green!! It also was raised up a little bit.

Priorities: What have you lost in the bustle of Christmas? I can’t find my glasses!

Priorities and Christmas time.  The two concepts almost don’t seem to go together. What have you lost in the bustle of Christmas?  So far this year, it has been my glasses!  I am going to have to make finding my glasses one of my priorities. I am afraid that I have boxed them off and mailed them to Denver.  Fortunately, I mailed them early enough that they should arrive at my daughter’s for Christmas.  And she is kind enough that she will mail them back.

We are so trying to be the Mom.  You know, the Mom who has it all together.  The Mom whose house is clean.  The Mom whose house people want to come to.  The house of peace and calmness. Forgiveness: do it soon

Why not? Why can’t we forgive? What is so difficult about being forgiving?

I think it must be because you have to humble yourself to forgive someone. You must admit that you also need forgiveness and forgiveness reminds you that you yourself are not perfect. HOWEVER, if you are finding it difficult, if not impossible to forgive someone from the past or from an event that happened this past year, I beg you to reconsider.
